Koutsi Switches to Summer Timetables from June 1, 2026
As schoolchildren begin their summer break, the supplementary routes 32–64 will also pause. During the summer timetable period, the main routes will operate, although partly with different schedules than in winter. A trial service to the Käyrälampi swimming beach will be introduced for the summer. Service routes and dial-a-ride taxis will continue to operate normally throughout the summer.

Koutsi public transport on Independence Day 6.12.2025
Finland's Independence Day will be celebrated on Saturday, December 6. Koutsi public transport will operate according to the Sunday schedule, but the Defence Forces parade held in the city center will affect routes. Visitors coming to watch the parade are encouraged to use public transportation.
Changes to the morning departures of Koutsi line 3
Small adjustments aim to improve the punctuality of bus lines 1 and 3. The changes will take effect on Monday, December 1, 2025.
National parade on the Independence Day to affect traffic in Kouvola on 5.- 6.12.2025
The national parade on the Independence Day 6 December will affect traffic and parking arrangements in Kouvola. During the parade events, the public is kindly asked to move on foot downtown, in the area of the Finnish baseball stadium, Sumulaaksonkatu, Salpausselänkatu, and Kymen Lukko.
We defend Finland together – national parade on the Independence Day of Finland in Kouvola this year
The Finnish Defence Forces will celebrate the 108th Independence Day of Finland by way of a national parade on 6 December in Kouvola. The theme of the parade is We defend Finland together. The review of troops will take place at Kouvola Finnish baseball stadium, and the pass in review on Salpausselänkatu. The Finnish Defence Forces’ and other agencies’ equipment and activity will be available for familiarisation at Sumulaakso. The events are free of charge.
Additional weekend departures and service to Kasarminmäki have been added in Kouvola’s public transport network
The additional departures on Route 7 primarily serve weekend employees and customers of the Veturi-shopping center. At the same time, Routes 7 and 8 will be redirected to the Kasarminmäki route.
