Amazing Student Race Kouvola – A City Adventure for Students on 24 September 2026

At the Amazing Student Race Kouvola event, students have the opportunity to network and explore the opportunities Kouvola offers for studying, employment and leisure time. The event centres around a fun team challenge on multiple event stations, and participants can also learn about educational opportunities at a mini education fair held at Kohoa.

Amazing Student Race Kouvola brings together upper secondary and higher education students in the centre of Kouvola on Thursday, 24 September 2026, from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm. The purpose of this bilingual (Finnish and English) and alcohol-free event is to introduce new students to Kouvola and the study, employment and leisure time opportunities available in the city.

The event is organised by the Kouvola Student Council under the Upper Secondary and Higher Education Services.

Event stations, mini education fair and programme on stage

For the Amazing Student Race event station challenge, students register as teams and visit event stations located in the centre of Kouvola that showcase different services. At the event stations, teams can complete various tasks and collect stamps in their event passport. Teams that return their event passport by the deadline will be entered into a prize draw.

Participants can also attend the Mini Education Fair at the Kohoa Synergy Centre from 4.00 pm to 6.30 pm. The fair is also open to the public.
