The additional departures on Route 7 primarily serve weekend employees and customers of the Veturi-shopping center. At the same time, Routes 7 and 8 will be redirected to the Kasarminmäki route.

Kouvolatalo´s Night of the Arts Offers a Diverse Evening of Dance and Music Performances
The City of Kouvola will once again participate in the Night of the Arts, organized by Kouvolan Ydinkeskusta ry, on Friday, August 15. At Kouvolatalo, its surrounding area, and the Poikilo Museum, visitors can enjoy a rich program of music, dance, theater, and visual arts from 5 PM to 10 PM – free of charge and open to all.
Siisti Siti campaign got Kouvola residents picking up litter
A total of 56 groups with approximately 2,530 participants registered for the Siisti Siti campaign, which continued into the early days of June. Litter picking and clean-up events are a spring tradition for many.
The Water Quality at Kouvola’s Public Beaches is Good
The microbiological quality of water samples taken during week 25 was good at all public beaches in Kouvola. At the time of sampling, a small amount of blue-green algae (cyanobacteria) was observed at Käyrälampi beach. However, no algae were detected at the beach in the following days. Since algae conditions can change rapidly, it is always advisable to visually inspect the water before swimming.
