To boost health care education with technical and safety solutions

Welfare Technology in a Cross-Sectoral Learning Environment

1.9.2019 – 31.8.2022

The objective of this project is to combine the competences of technical, safety and health care education in order to boost the technological focus in health care education by applying a cross sectoral teaching and learning approach. Health care staff and students know the care profession, but have limited focus on technical solutions that could be implemented in their field, and ease their workload and improve the quality of care. There is a lack of knowledge about the possibilities that lie in welfare technology. The project objective is to develop curriculum delivery and contents in close cooperation with health care providers and suppliers of welfare technology equipment.

Project partners are Norway, KSAO and SEDU from Finland, Netherlands and Portugal, Norway coordinating.

The project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.
