Public transport

Kouvola is a significant railway junction, with rail connections going off in four different directions. Bus travel is handled by private companies. The range of public transport services includes not only scheduled trains and buses but also three special service bus routes and 17 commercial taxis. Different public transport services are accessible by 94% of the city’s residents.

Bus tickets:
Single tickets can be purchased at the buses. You can buy Waltti travel card and load value or a season ticket on the card at Bussimatkatoimisto, Torikatu 2.

Train tickets:
You can purchase train tickets at https://www.vr.fi/cs/vr/en/frontpage or for example use the ticket vending machines at the train station.
